Project Design Brief:
Complete renovation of Master Ensuite and Main Bathroom. The client was looking to create a retreat feel in their master ensuite. A space where they could relax and enjoy after a busy work day. The original space was completely open to the bedroom, the brief was to create more privacy in each separate space. For the main bathroom, used by her two sons, the client wanted to create a bright, open and functional space. Although previously functional, the bathroom had not been renovated for a long time and needed an update.
milu Scope of Works:
milu designs was engaged to design each space, specifying all finishes and fixtures, lighting and accessories. We were engaged to manage the entire project, liaising with the builder, plumber, tiler, painter and electrician. We were required to be on site frequently to check progress and ensure everything was not only on time but delivered to the design brief. milu designs managed all the ordering for this project and therefore managed all individual suppliers to ensure deliveries were on time, quality checked and installed correctly.

Project Design Brief:
New build in Camp Hill. Interior Decoration, Furnishing and Styling of full house; Entry, Main living, Kitchen, Dining Area, Office, Outdoor Dining, Lounge and Pool Area. 4 x Bedrooms, 3 x Bathrooms and second living area. This client wanted to create a warm and welcoming space that was light and bright with a contemporary scandinavian feel. The interior itself had a cool grey paint throughout and more traditional features within the bathrooms and kitchen, so we had to ensure the furniture and decoration complemented this whilst staying true to the clients style preferences. The client has three sons, therefore the types of fabrics, colours, shapes and price points were all selected with this in mind and the client brought 3 x artworks of their own that we had to fit into the design.

milu designs was engaged to manage the entire project from initial design concept, through procurement of all furnishings and accessories, supplier and subcontractor management, delivery and installation at site. milu designs managed all the ordering for this project and therefore managed all individual suppliers to ensure deliveries were on time, quality checked and assembled and installed correctly. As the client was a time-poor professional, milu designs did not meet the client in person until the point of final handover, all meetings were worked in via Zoom with communications by phone and email throughout to ensure a smooth process with no delays.
